MIDDLE TENNESSEE (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for most of Middle Tennessee, including Montgomery County.

The watch is in effect through Thursday evening.

Very heavy rainfall and storms this week have led to saturated ground across the area, and more showers and thunderstorms are expected later today. This could lead to additional flash flooding.

One to two inches of rain are possible.

The watch also effects Christian and Todd counties in Kentucky.

Drivers are cautioned to turn around when encountering a water-covered road.
