CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A fire broke out Monday around 11 a.m. at Jade Dragon Chinese Restaurant, located at the intersection of Dunbar Cave Rd. and Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
Fire Marshal Ray Williams said three employees were inside at the time but were able to escape safely. No one was injured.
The blaze began in the kitchen when a wok caught fire as employees were preparing food for the day. They attempted to put it out but were unsuccessful.
The building sustained extensive damage from fire, smoke, and water, according to Williams. It will be closed indefinitely.
