CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –
Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, is collecting donations locally to send to children in need around the world.

The project collects and donates shoe boxes filled with school supplies, hygiene items, fun toys, and notes of encouragement.

You can find item suggestions at www.samaritanspurse.org/OCC.

Fill your boxes for either boys or girls, ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 1410 Golf Club Lane is the central drop-off location for Montgomery and surrounding counties. Drop off hours are :

Labels that indicate whether it’s for a boy or girl and what age are available at the church. Please include $9 for shipping for each box. If you’d like to track where your box goes, you can go to the same website and pay for your boxes and print off barcoded labels. You will get an email when your box is delivered and it will tell you where it went.
