MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -Montgomery County Parks and Recreation (MCPR) will host a public input meeting for community members to have a first look at the proposed Rotary Park Nature Center.

The center is part of MCPR’s TN Department of Environment and Conservation grant application.

The final meeting date is as follows:

Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Rotary Park Large Pavilion

The input meeting will provide the public with a chance to share their ideas and wishes about the nature center, which is expected to be home to multiple interactive nature exhibits. The nature center will be an optimal venue for science related field trips and activities.

“We hope to have community members attend this event to help us plan the nature center into what the citizens would like,” said Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Director Jerry Allbert.

The public meeting is also posted on the Montgomery County Parks and Recreation website at mcgtn.org/parks.
