CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – American Idol contestant and past winner of Q108’s Clarksville’s Got Talent competition local Tristan McIntosh was given a proclamation by County Mayor Jim Durrett.

The County Commission meeting on Jan. 11 started with a proclamation in McIntosh’s honor. She was also presented with a county coin to take with her as she continues to pursue her music dreams.

Tristan said having her mom show up for the audition was surreal. She added, “You don’t expect someone who has been gone for six months to show up for an audition.”

When asked what she was looking forward to this season she said, “I’m looking forward to Hollywood week because group round was my favorite to watch on TV and it will be even better to participate.”

Tristan said she would like to record country music with some pop or rock influence.
