CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have confirmed a child was hit by a vehicle Thursday around 4 p.m. in the area of Sharpie Dr.
The child was riding a bicycle and was hit by a juvenile driving a pickup truck.
Public Information Officer Jim Knoll said a LifeFlight helicopter was called to airlift the child to a nearby hospital, but only as a precautionary measure. He said the child was conscious and breathing at the scene.
No further information is available at this time. Investigator Larry Harris is in charge of the investigation.
