CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service says Middle Tennessee remains under a slight risk of severe storms Tuesday.

Damaging straight-line winds and large hail are the primary threats.

It appears at this time that it will be a daytime event for most of Middle Tennessee.

Tuesday’s high will be near 68 degrees. The chance of rain throughout the day is 80 percent with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms late at night. Wind gusts may be up to 25 mph.
