PALMYRA, Tenn. – A body was found in the Palmyra area of Montgomery County early Thursday morning.
Sandra Brandon, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), said human remains had been discovered around 8:50 a.m. on the 3000 block of Tarsus Rd.
The report was made by a man hunting in the area.
The cause of death and identity of the victim are not known at this time.

A body was found in Palmyra in the Cumberland River in October of this year.
