CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control is seeking information about the death of a dog Sunday.
According to Director Jeanette Farrell, Animal Control received the call from the Sheriff’s Office about a deceased frozen dog at Grandma’s Apron Restaurant on Salem Rd.
Upon arrival, the Animal Control Officer found a tan/gray and white pitbull type dog in the front parking lot that had been abandoned.
The dog’s body was frozen to the bottom half of a doghouse and was covered with a blue blanket with “Little Puppies” embroidered on it. The dog appeared to have died at that location.
