CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 71-year-old man was viciously attacked during a recent robbery at a Clarksville laundromat.
Police said three male suspects entered the Super Suds Laundry at 714 Peachers Mill Rd. May 30 around 10 p.m. The suspects attacked the employee and repeatedly assaulted him.
The males also turned over a coin-operated game machine and stole an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene in a white pickup truck.
The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital and is in stable condition.
“Police are following some very good leads and expect to solve the robbery quickly,” Clarksville police spokesman Jim Knoll said.
