NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 7-year-old 2nd grader brought a BB gun to a Hermitage elementary school Tuesday morning.
WKRN News 2 reports that the child reportedly took the gun to Ruby Majors Elementary School on John Hagar Road.
An official with Metro Nashville Public Schools told News 2 the second-grader no longer has possession of the BB gun and no threat was made against the school.
Administrators are working with police to deal with the student.
No additional information was immediately released.
