FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WKRN) – Two Fort Campbell soldiers are being held as persons of interest in the disappearance of a fellow soldier, according to officials.

In a statement released Tuesday, the U.S. Army post says, “Two Soldiers are currently being held as persons of interest in the disappearance of PFC Shadow McClaine. Fort Campbell law enforcement continue to investigate the matter. No further details are available at this time.”

While the names of those soldiers were not immediately released, News 2 learned McClaine’s ex-husband Jamal McCray, also a soldier, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County jail earlier this month on Oct. 6.

His exact charges have not been released, and it’s unclear if his arrest is in connection to the disappearance case.

McClaine remains missing.

She is a 25-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes.
