Free Microsoft Word II Computer Class

Participants will learn the basics of using the word processing program.

This class will focus on inserting clip art and word art into a document. If time allows, also how to copy a picture from the Internet into your document. will learn how to re-size, text wrap and move the pictures and word art around.

This class will take place in the second floor computer lab.

Herschel Walker Meet and Greet

Herschel Walker, the NFL star and MMA fighter will be coming to Fort Campbell on April 16.

Come hang out at The Zone and visit with Mr. Walker. There is no cover charge to enter The Zone but you must be at least 18 years of age.

Discover Scuba

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover SCUBA Diving will let you try scuba diving to see if you like it while under the direction of one of our PADI Instructors.

While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover SCUBA Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

Classes are $25 with or without a pool pass. All SCUBA equipment will be provided. The class is for people ages 10 and up. Participants may register online here.

Habitat will be collecting items for the Clarksville ReStore on the day of the event and C&L Recycling will be set up to collect shoes, purses, linens and soda cans. All proceeds will go towards the “Cans for Homes” recycling program.


Welcome Home Ride for Heath Calhoun

The community will welcome home Clarksville resident and U.S. Paralympics Silver Medalist SSG R Heath Calhoun April 19.

Clarksville will celebrate his homecoming with a Welcome Home Ride form Outlaw Field (200 Airport Rd.) to Appleton’s Harley Davidson (2501 Hwy 41-A Bypass).

The formation begins at 11 a.m., and bikes will leave at noon. Calhoun will be escorted down 41-A, right onto Riverside, and end at Appleton’s

A meet and greet session with Calhoun will be set up at Appleton’s upon arrival of the riders.


Spring Eggstravaganza

at Heritage Park

The event will will have games, inflatables, prizes, a petting zoo, and egg hunts for ages 3-10.

There will be over 20,000 filled eggs and a visit with the Easter Bunny.


Gates open at 12:30 p.m. Each parent or guardian will need to check their child in to receive an armband in order to participate in the egg hunts. There is no cost to enter.
