Zofia Jacobs, age 90, of Woodlawn, TN passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The Rev. Betty Coghill will be officiating along with the Rev. Patrick Simpson assisting. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Zofia entered this life on June 14, 1933, in Poland, to the late Jan and Ksenia Polak. She was a member of Discover Life Church, and she enjoyed gardening, and cooking. Zofia loved her family and God dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Elmer Jack Jacobs, and Kenneth Jacobs, and her sister, Frances Maszczak.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Elmer Jacobs; son, Rick Jacobs (Linda); daughters, Linda Kautz (Dave), Kathy Vaughn (David), and Jeannette Redmond (Ken); sisters, Lidia Janczewski, and Jennie Fryda. Zofia also leaves behind nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
