CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A fundraiser will be held this Friday at Zaxby’s to benefit a local teacher who is battling a brain tumor.
Tracy Pierce, who teaches at Rossview Middle School, was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2014. After undergoing chemotherapy and surgery, her condition improved.
However, in January of this year, Pierce was told she has a brain tumor and is now continuing radiation treatments.
Local teenager Carla Gabriela Silva has organized Team Tracy Pierce Night to help Pierce with her medical expenses.
The fundraiser will be held Friday, March 27 from 3-9 p.m. at Zaxby’s on Lowes Dr. A portion of sales from this time will be donated to Pierce.
