CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University (APSU) will host a Youth Baseball Camp and Winter Instructional Showcase for those interested in learning more about the game.
The Winter Instructional Showcase will be held Feb. 6 from 12-6 p.m. at APSU’s Raymond C. Hand Park. On-site registration begins at 11 a.m.
Registration can also be completed online.
High school students from the classes of 2016-2019 are eligible to participate.
Along with the instruction on certain phases of the game, feedback on technique will also be included with this camp.
The cost is $125 and includes an APSU baseball t-shirt.
The Travis Janssen Youth Baseball Camp will be held Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Raymond C. Hand Park. Kids ages 7-12 are invited to participate.
Cost is $50 and includes a t-shirt and lunch.
“We look forward to a fun day of teaching the fundamentals of baseball,” Head APSU Baseball Coach Travis Janssen said.
