CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville’s Young Single Adults recently gave their time to set up for The Festival of the Nativity, sponsored by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Clarksville.
The 13 teens and their four advisors set up props for the upcoming event, which is free and open to the public. The group assisted with the set up as part of their weekly “Family Home Evening” which they describe as time to “break away from their daily activities and together make a difference in the lives of others.”
This year marks the fifth that the The Festival of the Nativity has taken place, displaying hundreds of nativity sets from around the world. Live music will also be performed during the event by area residents.
The three-day festival runs Dec. 5, 6 and 7 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. daily and is held at 3242 Hwy. 41-A South, Clarksville, 37043.
Those attending can come at any time during these hours and stay as long as they wish. Entertainment begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5th with a performance by the Northeast High School Exit One Show Choir followed at 7 p.m. by with Handel’s Messiah, presented by the Nashville Community Choir and Orchestra.
