CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The 2023 Clarksville Better Beef Show was held at the Bartee Arena on Monday and Tuesday.

Dozens of people gathered to show their cattle at the event and to help support the development of future agriculture leaders in Montgomery and surrounding counties. The event was a success with over 100 cattle being shown.

The Head family was heavily involved in this year’s show, said Clay Head. “We’ve got 18 steers being shown this year by about 10 different youth exhibitors, so it’s a great event,” he said.

Senior Final Heat winners: Collin Cook, Haleigh Biggar, Augustus Rye, Allie Walker, Abby Newberry, Elisha Coleman, Brady Bucchiarelli, Mac Bagget, Brickey Cox and Nick Marlin.

Junior High Final Heat winners: Jacob Biggar, Ella Coleman, Esme Rye, Reese Bagget, Julian Rosado, Gracie Gayler, Baylon Thomas, Genna Calhoun, Brittany Palmore and Briley Bucchiarelli.

Junior Final Heat winners: Michael Barnett, Maci Ballow, Ethan Bartee, Romy Rye, Kaitlyn Holbrook, Charlsie Bryant, Broc Hunnyatt, Ellie Scharklet, Eleanor Head and Sloan Rouse.
