CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A young Clarksville actor has a role in the new action movie Sketch, which premieres this weekend, and starting Monday, he’ll be appearing for meet-and-greets at Regal Theaters on Tiny Town Road.

Sketch, which opens Friday, is about a young girl named Amber whose sketchbook is full of colorful drawings of monsters, according to a synopsis on the Sketch website. When her sketchbook falls into a strange pond, her drawings come to life; they are unpredictable, chaotic and dangerously real. As the town unravels, she and her brother must track down the creatures before they leave permanent damage.

Clarksville’s Jaxen Kenner plays the role of Demarcus, one of Amber’s friends who rides the same bus as her and her brother. They all work together to escape from the big blue monster named Dave.

Jaxen, 12, has been a full-time actor for five years, according to his mother, Amber Kenner. He went to Richview Middle School this past year and will be attending Rossview Middle in the fall.
