CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Family YMCA continues to seek out ways to meet the needs of our local families. Their latest initiative, Teeny Town, celebrated with its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday.

In today’s fast-paced and technology-driven world, the Y seeks to provide a safe place for youth that encourages creativity, activates imaginations, and provides opportunities for youth to engage in hands-on activities and develop much-needed tactile learning skills.

Three generous local sponsors teamed up with the Y to bring Teeny Town to life, Fortera Credit Union, The Sweetest Batch Cupcakery, and Sudden Service. There are now mini versions of each of these business the YMCA’s Y-Play area. This area serves as child care for 3-6 year olds.

You can stop in and take a tour of the Y at 260 Hillcrest Drive and see Teeny Town for yourself anytime! You can also get a free 3-day guest pass for your family by visiting www.trythey.com.
