CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Yada is the latest local business to cut a ribbon with the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. With a new name and a new location, Yada, formerly Yada, Yada, Yada, has moved from their old spot on Strawberry Alley to Franklin Street.

Owner, Darla Knight, talked about the name change. “Our name really says it all, it was Yada, Yada, Yada, we changed it to Yada, which is a Yiddish term that basically means we have a relationship so I don’t have to fill the air with a bunch of words, you know what I’m talking about, it’s like blah, blah, blah,” said Knight.

Knight added that you already know what we’re about, we’re about relationships the style of dining is about enhancing those relationships, so we just really want to be the epicenter of downtown where people can come to meet friends and make new friends. That’s really what we want to be in this community.

Knight praised Yada’s General Manager, Alicia Brewer, their Executive Chef Danny Dickman from Chicago and their employees for their hard work and success..

Thursday, close to 250 people attended the grand opening celebration for the new Yada, enjoying food drink and live music.

You’ll find Yada at 111 Franklin St. They are open Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. They are closed from 4 to 5 p.m. daily to prepare for dinner. There are also plans for Yada to expand to Brunch in the near future.
