CLARKSVILLE, TN – Katherine Johnson Cannata and Sidney Johnson, dealer principals from the Wyatt Johnson Automotive Group, were recently honored with the Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).

The ESGR is the Defense Department agency promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.

The Patriot Award honors supervisors for their exceptional support of National Guard and Reserve employees by presenting them with a public acknowledgement of their support and a framed certificate of appreciation. Nominations must come from a National Guard and Reserve member or a dependent. One of Wyatt Johnson’s Service Technicians nominated them as representatives of Wyatt Johnson.

“It’s truly an honor to receive this award,” said Cannata. “It’s especially fulfilling to receive the nomination from one of our own team members. Fort Campbell military base is so important to us at Wyatt Johnson, our Clarksville community and our nation. We could not be more grateful for them and this prestigious award.”

The award ceremony took place at Wyatt Johnson Toyota in Clarksville, Tennessee, Jan. 18. The award was presented to Katherine and Sidney by Retired Col. John Dyess, and many executives and team members of the Wyatt Johnson organization were there to show support.
