CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Wyatt Johnson Subaru showed its support for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation Wednesday with a donation of over $24,000 as part of their Share the Love event for local communities.
Robin Burton, Executive Director of the CMC Education Foundation, said she appreciated Wyatt Johnson Subaru selecting the organization for their donation and talked about how the money will be used.
“These funds will help ensure our Teacher Warehouse stays stocked, we can offer great idea grants, and we can continue to host events and ceremonies that directly recognize our amazing teachers and students,” said Burton.
“We at Wyatt Johnson are thrilled to be able to donate this $24,000 check to them for their noble efforts and are proud to support anything for public education,” said Bill Powers, Managing Partner with Wyatt Johnson, and former education foundation board member.
The amount of money that is given to the chosen nonprofit organization through the Share the Love event is based on sales. It is $250 per car of which Wyatt Johnson Subaru pays $125 and the Subaru of America pays $125.
