FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – On January 17, Screaming Eagle Honor Flight will have an information and “Meet a Hero” booth at the Main Exchange at Fort Campbell, Kentucky from noon to 4 p.m.

Five World War II veterans, one from each branch of service and two from the US Army, will be present at the event.

Appearing will be:
Mr. Edgar Harrell USMC and survivor of the USS Indianapolis
Mr. Carl Stewart USN
Mr. Henry Walker USAF
Mr. James Williams US Army
Mr. Frank Mumma US Army

Also at this booth will be information about flights to Washington DC for veterans to visit their memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice at no charge to them.

The organization is currently accepting applications from:
1. Terminally ill veterans from any war or conflict
2. World War II veterans
3. Korean War veterans

Vietnam veterans will be added to the list in the future.

Applications will be accepted at the event for veterans, volunteers, and guardians (veteran escorts), and accepting tax deductible donations.
