CLARKSVILLE, TN – Local Mexican-American artist Brianna Martinez has several works on display at the Casa Galleria. Martinez is a newcomer to Clarksville and a member of the Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC).
Carolanne Nadeau, president of DAC, said the admission of Brianna to the Co-op was easy based on her creativity and skill. Nadeau explained that Martinez includes cultural as well as personal narrative in her art.
Gaia Von Lei, executive manager of the Casa D’Italia Ristorante, shared the small gallery is quite proud of the range of artists that have exhibited so far with an American oil painter, a Korean-American watercolor artist, and now a Mexican-American multimedia artist that showcases the broad cultural diversity of Clarksville as well as artistic talent.
The new art exhibit runs through Jan. 14. Casa D’Italia Ristorante sponsors the gallery Sunday through Saturday each week during normal business hours at 1345 Fort Campbell Blvd.
