CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A construction worker was injured Monday morning after a trench collapsed at the Google data site in Clarksville.
Montgomery County Emergency Management Director Ed Baggett said the trench collapsed on his legs.
Baggett said the victim was Lifelighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Emergency Medical Services Director Jimmie Edwards said other workers were able to free the victim and he was awake and alert when emergency personnel arrived on the scene.
The Google site is at 1010 Solar Way near the industrial park.
