CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The week will start with heavy wind and end with heavy rain in Montgomery County.

Monday will bring gusty winds. Sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph will be possible, according to the National Weather Service. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the advisory said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”

Rain is expected on Wednesday and is likely to continue through Friday afternoon. At this point, 1.5 to 3 inches of rain is expected Wednesday-Friday in Montgomery County.
