CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We’re about to get a break from the heat, with rain expected all day on Monday.

The chance of showers and thunderstorms is near 100% Monday and Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

That will cool the highs off to the upper 70s on Tuesday, rising back to the upper 80s by the end of the week.
