Update, 8:10 a.m.: The storms should roll in this afternoon and evening, according to an update from the National Weather Service.
“Look for storms to materialize late this afternoon & evening,” NWS said.” Some storms may be strong to severe. If we warm even more than we expect, then our severe potential may increase. The main threat is straight-line winds, but a tornado can’t be ruled out.”
