Work week weather: Heat continues, with chance of storms at the start

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The week will start with a chance of storms, but with heat index readings up to 100.

There’s a 50 percent chance of storms Monday, according to the National Weather Service, and the accompanying humidity will bring the upper-80s temperature to a heat index of 95 to 100.

After a 40 percent chance of rain Tuesday, the rest of the week will bring lows in the lower 70s and highs in the mid 90s.
