CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Work continues on a downtown mural as part of a public art initiative by Two Rivers Company (TRC).
The mural, titled “Clarksville Starry Night,” is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh’s best known works “The Starry Night.”
The mural is the creation of artist Olasubomi Bashorun, who submitted the design in response to the TRC’s call for proposal for art in public places.
The work in progress can be seen on the side of Total Fitness at 418 Madison Street, next to the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.
Two Rivers Company is a non-profit organization that promotes economic growth and quality of life issues in Downtown Clarksville.
