WOODLAWN, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Woodlawn Little League District 9 won the fight through District and State tournaments to celebrate its 2nd consecutive year as Junior League Softball Tennessee State Champions for 2016.
Woodlawn’s Junior Division Softball team District 9 Reapers won the battle between St. Bethlehem Junior Softball team out of Clarksville, Tennessee on July 7 and went on to win the State Champion Title, securing the win over Morristown, Tennessee’s Junior Division Softball team on Saturday July 9 at Woodlawn.
The Woodlawn Little League Junior Division Softball team will travel to Salisbury North Carolina to compete in the Softball Regional tournament July 22.
