Clarksville, Tenn. – The Woodlawn Little League Junior Softball Team has won the 2015 Junior Softball League State Championship. This is the first state title since the league was established in 1997. Final score: 13-3 Woodlawn vs. Morristown. Both teams displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the 3 hour game enduring the heat of the afternoon. Congratulations Woodlawn for pulling out the win!!!
Players on the team are Sara Koski, Ashlie Steffen, Libby Smith, Kaleye Wright, Sarah Robertson, Joie Giarrizzo, Kasey Robertson, Carley Mann, Jaden Scott, Olivia Randall and Kallista Tasker. Coaches are Ricky Robertson, Ken Barnes and Jackie Robertson.
