CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Woodlawn played Clarksville National at Civitan Park Wednesday in the Senior Softball District Tournament.
Woodlawn Little League jumped out to a lead in the 2nd inning scoring three runs and in the 3rd inning they added three more. Clarksville National battled back to score seven runs to take the lead.
In the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs, Woodlawn had eleven runs and Clarksville National had ten runs with runners on base. The Clarksville National batter popped a ball up and runs in to the catcher. The umpire called interference and the game was over.
Woodlawn won the tournament with a score of 11-10.
