CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Women of Clarksville Expo returned Saturday at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, drawing attendees from across the community for a day focused on women’s health, wellness and empowerment.
The free event featured more than 50 vendors, food trucks, prize giveaways and educational sessions. Special guest Tracy Kornet, a seven-time Emmy Award-winning news anchor with WSMV4 Nashville, led discussions on topics including nutrition, stress management and more.

Clarksville First Lady Cynthia Pitts shared that health and wellness are important to the Expo’s mission. “We try to think about the whole health of the woman and figure out how we can best serve the needs they might have,” Pitts said. “That includes everything from physical health screenings to mental health support.”
Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center and Ascension Saint Thomas offered health screenings for attendees who might not have access otherwise. Pitts said past expos have even uncovered serious health conditions that people didn’t know they had until coming to the event.
The Expo also provided space for local businesses and entrepreneurs, giving many women their first opportunity to showcase their services at no cost. As the Expo continues to grow, Pitts said organizers will continue to adapt the event to meet community needs.
