CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was stabbed at an apartment complex off 101st Airborne Division Parkway early this morning, and the suspect is at large.
At approximately 2:21 a.m. Thursday, Clarksville Police received a 911 call from a woman reporting she had been stabbed, according to Officer Scott Beaubien. Officers responded and found the woman in the roadway near 2296 McCormick Lane. She has been transported to the emergency room at Tennova Healthcare for treatment.
The victim has provided limited information, but evidence indicates the stabbing was inside one of the apartments. Officers entered the apartment in question and found it was unoccupied.
Officers have secured the apartment complex’s parking lot, and detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to call 911 immediately.
