Woman shot in her car at apartments near Exit 1 in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was shot in her car this afternoon at Heritage Pointe Apartments, near Exit 1.

At about 12:40 p.m. in the 600 block of Abby Creek Drive, the woman was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle when she was shot, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Detective Michael Patterson.

The 36-year-old woman had a non-lifethreatening injuries.

“At this time, there is no reason to believe that this was a random act. This is most likely an isolated incident and the public is not in danger,” Patterson said.
