CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A woman was killed after being hit by a train in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
According to WKRN News 2, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday near Skyline Drive.
The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Jennifer Crawford of Hopkinsville.
The train, which was traveling to Chattanooga, consisted of three locomotives, 77 loaded rail cars of mixed freight and 34 empty rail cars, according to a spokesperson for CSX.
No train crew members were injured in the incident.
No additional information was immediately released.
