CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A woman has been shot following a physical altercation Sunday afternoon in Clarksville.
The incident occurred around 3:53 p.m. in the area of Farris Dr. and Kellogg St.
Police said this was not a random shooting. After a physical altercation between the adult female victim and the male suspect, the suspect shot the victim.
The victim was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center with serious but what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
