Update, 7:46 a.m.: The pedestrian is listed in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates she was wearing dark colored clothing and stepped out in front of the motorist.
“The Clarksville Police Department would like to remind pedestrians to wear bright or reflective clothing when walking at night and to always use crosswalks or designated crossing areas when available. Make eye contact with drivers before entering the roadway and remain alert, especially in low-light conditions.”

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was hit by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Tuesday night.
At about 9:52 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to the crash that near Lealand Drive, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. The pedestrian was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter, and her status has not been released.
The nearest pedestrian crossing to Lealand Drive on the six-lane highway is about 0.3 miles to the north at Concord Drive.
