Update, 3:25 p.m.: FACT Investigators located video surveillance footage of the SUV that hit the pedestrian on Ringgold Road this morning and then left the scene. Images were captured of a dark-colored SUV with a passenger-side fog light that does not work.

The victim is reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was hit by vehicle and left injured on Ringgold Road Friday morning.
At 5:45 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to the scene on Ringgold in front of the Post Office, 2011 Fort Campbell Blvd., according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.
A motorist found the woman in the middle of the roadway. The vehicle and driver that hit her left the scene. The injured woman was transported to Tennova Healthcare by ambulance, and her status and extent of her injuries has not been released.
The Fatal Accident Crash Team is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
