A woman died after being hit by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville Wednesday night.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman died after being hit by an SUV on Fort Campbell Boulevard Wednesday night.

At about 7 p.m., the woman was hit at Concord Drive, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien. She was pronounced dead at the scene and Fatal Accident Crash Team investigators have responded.

The southbound lanes of the highway are shut down from Concord Drive to Charlemagne Boulevard. CPD is asking the public to avoid the area until the roadway can be cleared.
