CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A woman in her 60s crashed into a business in Clarksville Monday afternoon.
According to police, the woman was driving a Ford Explorer on Madison Street around 1 p.m. when she turned into the parking lot of Family Dollar. She said she tried to apply the brakes, but for an unknown reason the vehicle didn’t stop and crashed into the building.
There was damage to the interior and exterior of the building. There were customers inside at the time of the crash, but no one was injured. The driver was checked out by EMS but was also uninjured.
Police did not say whether any charges will be filed at this time.
