CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A woman crashed her car into a Clarksville storefront Monday afternoon.
Police said a 51-year-old woman was driving a new vehicle she recently purchased around 2 p.m. when she drove into the parking lot of Discount Tobacco at 373 Dover Rd.
For an unknown reason, the woman hit the gas instead of the brake, ran the car over the curb, and crashed into the business.
There were people inside but no one was injured. The driver was also uninjured and she was cited for failure to use due care.
