CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville mother is charged with reckless endangerment after a car crash involving her two daughters on Sunday, June 5.
According to an arrest warrant Clarksville Police responded to a crash involving Whitney Byard and her boyfriend Derek Grissom. Grissom told the responding officer that they were in an argument over ending their relationship, when Byard attempted to run Grissom off the road while her two daughters were in the vehicle.
The warrant does not state if either of the girls were injured after Byard struck the vehicle several times.
Byard was placed under arrest for reckless endangerment for placing her daughters in imminent danger of serious bodily injury. Her bond was set for $15,000.
