HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A traffic stop led police to the discovery and seizure of 103 pounds of marijuana.

54-year-old Shirley Humphrey of Nortonville, Ky. was pulled over for speeding Monday afternoon in Hopkinsville. A K9 officer detected a scent of marijuana around the vehicle.
Police found an open alcoholic beverage as well as the 103 pounds of marijuana, which has a street value of $450,000.
The Hopkinsville Christian County Violent Crime and Drug Strike Force partnered with Kentucky State Police DESI West in the arrest.
Humphrey was charged with speeding, trafficking marijuana, and possession of an open alcoholic container.
