CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to a report of rape Tuesday, Aug. 27 around 9:21 p.m. near South First St. at the Kline Alley intersection.
According to a CPD report, the victim said she was walking on South First Street while talking to a friend on the phone when she noticed the two suspects standing next to a utility pole. The men began to follow her, and she told her friend on the phone what was happening.
The victim said the men overtook her and she was forced to the ground and held down by one suspect while the other sexually assaulted her.
A witness found the woman crying hysterically shortly after on the street. Her shirt had been removed and her jeans were torn. Police were notified and the victim was transported to Gateway Medical Center.
The first suspect has been described as a skinny light-skinned black male with short hair and waves, 6’3, 170 lbs, between 28-35 years of age, with gold caps on his upper front teeth, and a goatee. The second suspect has been described as a heavy dark-skinned black male with shoulder length dreads, 5’10, 220 lbs, between 38-45 years of age, with a fu Manchu mustache.
