CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have found and arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a woman at an apartment complex on May 29.

Just before 7 p.m. Monday, detectives with the Clarksville Police Department located Jada Turner, 24, and took her into custody without incident, according to CPD spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. Turner has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a warrant for aggravated assault and is awaiting trial.

Early on the morning of May 29, Clarksville Police received a 911 call from a woman reporting she had been stabbed, according to previous reports. Officers found the woman in the roadway near 2296 McCormick Lane, off 101st Airborne Division Parkway. Evidence indicated the stabbing was inside one of the apartments. Officers entered the apartment and found it was unoccupied.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was in stable condition as of Friday.
