According to an arrest warrant, investigators discovered Bowen had posted on ad on Craigslist in the relationship section titled “Have a deep dark fantasy”. Bowen said in the ad that she wanted to be raped.
Phone records show that Bowen contacted two individuals the night of the reported incident, according to the warrant. Bowen said in text messages that she wanted to be duct-taped, gagged, and sexually assaulted, to include but not limited to broken arms, black eyes, a broken nose, fractured ribs, etc.
The warrant also states that in another text message Bowen said she was sitting at Dunbar Cave in her car with no video cameras or lights, which she said was a perfect place for the rape to take place. She then texted, “I’m 100% consenting to be raped.”
Bowen was unable to convince anyone to come to the park, so she drove to an address on Cyprus Court where she engaged in consensual sexual assault that resulted in bruises, abrasions, ripped clothes, and a chipped tooth, according to the warrant.
Bowen was arrested and charged with false report. Her bond was set at $50,000.
