NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police have arrested a woman who was allegedly able to bypass TSA and board a plane at Nashville International Airport.

WKRN News 2 reports that Naja Haynes is charged with the misdemeanor offense of airport and aircraft security entry.

According to an affidavit obtained by News 2, Haynes allegedly drove to the airport and went inside the terminal after parking Thursday. She went to the TSA security checkpoint and was able to pass through the fourth lane without being screened.

Documents state she went to gate B5 and got on a Delta Airlines flight without proper identification and took a seat towards the back of the plane. She was approached by a gate agent and refused to produce identification.

When officers arrived, she was again asked for her identification and refused to hand it over. She allegedly told officers, “My name and faith is my I.D.”

Haynes was asked to stand and exit the plane, but refused. She was physically removed from the plane by an officer and taken into custody.

The aircraft was evacuated and cleared by a K9.
